This highlighted the ineffective, outdate manual reporting systems which is unreliable and time-consuming. The outdated systems does not provide reliable, relevant data in real-time, neither does it provide integrated reporting providing project information and data throughout which is required for tracking projects throughout the lifecycle of the construction project.

Kwanele Pityi is a professional construction project manager with over 15 years of experience in the construction sector and with expertise in the human settlements’ environment. He is registered with the SACPCMP and other construction bodies and has extensive working experience, knowledge and networks within the built environment and construction sector. He has worked for various spheres of government, and within the private and public sector and is a consultant for the Nelson Mandela University and the Department of Human Settlements.
