Kwanele identified a gap in the sector through his extensive projects he managed within the human settlements environment. It highlighted problems and challenges in terms of monitoring and tracking projects and having reliable and verified information remains a challenge. This highlighted the ineffective, outdate manual reporting systems which is unreliable and time-consuming. The outdated systems does not provide reliable, relevant data in real-time, neither does it provide integrated reporting providing project information and data throughout which is required for tracking projects throughout the lifecycle of the construction project.
